Sunday Allotment.
Potatoes growing well, 8 weeks in the ground. Should be ready to pick in about 4 weeks (Early August) need to let foliage start to die back first.
Storage of early potatoes is difficult and we normal use these first after harvesting. Main crop potatoes store much better and will last throughout the winter, if stored in a dry dark place (garage etc)
