With the shorter days and cooler temperatures, November is an ideal time to be tidying up the garden.
Here are five top things to do in November in the garden:
1. Plant daffodils, tulips and other Spring flowering bulbs.
2. Bring in tender plants out of the cold to protect over Winter. If you can’t bring them inside, use a protective material like fleece to cover them.
3. Clear up fallen leaves especially from lawns, ponds or beds. Rake up and destroy any infected leaves.
4. Lightly prune rose bushes to prevent wind rock.
5. Re-organise and de-clutter your garden shed. Sort out your garden tools and free up some space.
